Roderick is also Founder and Pastor of Rejoice in the Lord Ministries, in Orlando, Florida. Roderick Zak is also the former President of the African American Council of Christian Clergy, a network of churches representing 50,000 parishioners in Central Florida. Pastor Zak earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Spring Hill College in Alabama, and a Master of Divinity Degree, from Interdenominational Theological Center, in Georgia. He is also the author of the book Winning is Everything. |
Founder and Chair of Need to Read (N2R)
A Non-Profit organization whose purpose is to combat low literacy in children in underserved communities. In less than two years N2R has given away 18,000 books, established three reading corners (with 200 titles) and facilitated parenting training for over 2000 households.

Spreading the Dream
A program celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., hiscommunity partners include major corporations, Orange County Public Schools, andthe FAMU Law School. The program has been in existence for five years. It attracts3,000 attendees to the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center for the celebration, whichincludes students from 50 local middle schools. It facilitates an essay contest for thestudents with cash awards for each school’s winner and the overall winner.
